What is the application process for the Start-up Visa Program?

 The application process for the Canada Start-Up Visa Program can be broken down into the following steps:

  1. Prepare your Pitch Deck or Business Plan: Develop a comprehensive business plan or pitch deck that outlines your start-up idea, target market, competitive advantage, and financial projections

  2. Submit your application to a designated organization: Approach a designated organization, such as a venture capital fund, angel investor group, or business incubator, and submit your application for review and evaluation. Each organization has its own specific requirements, so tailor your application accordingly.


  3. Obtain a Letter of Support or Investment Commitment: If your application is successful, you will receive a Letter of Support or Investment Commitment from the designated organization, which is crucial for your Start-Up Visa application

  4. Meet the eligibility requirements: Ensure you meet the following eligibility requirements for the Start-Up Visa Program
     
    • Have a qualifying business
    • Obtain a Letter of Support from a designated organization
